Qualifications

• 5-10 years' experience in security integration and consulting.

• Experience with security system solution design and application.
• Bilingual in English and French is a plus.

We are growing our business through a focus on A&E consultants. This role is to manage relationships between the professional consultants, architects, and engineers across Canada who specify products for inclusion into their design of security systems.

About You

Are you passionate about the open platform? Do you have a strong background in physical security and a deep understanding of the A&E community? Are you a master networker with a passion for technology?

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage business relationships with the A&E Consultant community across Canada.
• Build the network of A&E contacts in territory by leveraging programs and outreach initiatives driven from the organization.
• Supports security specifiers by traveling to job sites, offices, association meetings, security conferences and local/national trade shows to maintain relationships with security consultants.
• Assist the CBM and A&E Team with program initiatives and providing recommendations for program improvement.
• Maintain A&E contacts and detail specified opportunities within region using Salesforce CRM.
• Coordinate project opportunities with the various sales teams. Communicate project specifics for a smooth hand off for sales success.
• Utilize the CRM to grow, maintain and develop all aspects of the A&E community and project development.
• Become a subject matter expert in video management and integrated solutions with the territory consultants.
• Work with the various Milestone Technology Partners A&E teams to promote the value of an open best-in class solution to customers and consultants in the market.
• Serve as a technical liaison between Milestone, the Consultant Community, customers and our Milestone’s eco-system of Technology Partners

Professional Qualifications

• 5-10 years' experience in security integration and security consulting - Mandatory
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field – Nice to have
• Comprehensive understanding of all facets of the physical security industry – Mandatory
• Strong understanding of: - Mandatory
  • IP cameras, IOT devices, Codecs, and ONVIF standards
  • Video Management Systems (VMS)
  • Video storage architectures (NAS, SAN, cloud storage)
  • Networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, PoE, QoS)
  • Edge and server-based video analytics
• Software and Hardware installation and technical sales experience – Nice to have
• Security System Solution design and application -Mandatory
• An existing relationship with the A&E community -Nice to have
• Strong organizational skills, business acumen and attention to detail -Mandatory
• Experience with Salesforce as a CRM -Nice to have
• Strong Relationship management
