Job summary

A leading construction firm in Canada seeks a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Pipefitter or Plumber for their RDKB Trail Wastewater Treatment Plant project. Qualifications

  • Experience in reading and interpreting interferences from all drawings.
  • Able to establish control points with accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain piping systems at wastewater treatment facilities.
  • Provide guidance to less experienced apprentices.
  • Contribute to safety and quality control at job sites.

3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Pipefitter or Plumber

Maple Reinders Constructors Ltd. is seeking an experienced 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Pipefitter or Plumber for the RDKB Trail Wastewater Treatment Plant in Trail, Briitsh Columbia. This is a great opportunity to work on a significant infrastructure project with one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies and be part of a dynamic, industry-leading team!

Responsibilities/Qualifications:

We are looking for pipefitters who have experience with:

  • Reading & interpreting interferences from all drawings
  • Establishing control points with accuracy
  • Able to provide leadership.
  • Experience with compressed air piping and process hot/cold water piping systems.
  • Experience with PVC/HDPE and stainless-steel piping
  • Able to install various types of mechanical equipment and architectural hardware.
  • Able to transfer levels over large distances with accuracy.
  • Rigging and installing equipment
  • Mechanical bolt-up
  • Experience with industrial and/or commercial construction is an asset.
  • Knowledge of water treatment and/or wastewater treatment facility construction an asset
  • Valid Zoom Boom Ticket is considered an asset.
