Join RBC’s Digital Marketing team as a Summer Student and play a pivotal role in driving our digital transformation journey. This role is ideal for a proactive and curious student passionate about marketing, technology, and customer experience. You’ll develop foundational knowledge in Google Analytics for basic reporting, understand web experimentation and personalization concepts, and build familiarity with essential digital marketing tools and workflows – empowering you to contribute meaningfully while growing your expertise.

The Digital Marketing coordinator contract position will work closely with the Digital Marketing Managers and RBC Marketing and business/product leads to manage digital development, maintenance, and content implementation for various RBC public websites, landing pages and digital assets as well as monitoring and reporting campaign results and identifying optimization opportunities across website/digital channels. This role offers mentorship, skill-building opportunities, and exposure to large-scale projects in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Key Accountabilities may include:
  • Support the Digital Marketing Managers by executing various integrated marketing tactics in alignment with stakeholder and business objectives
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement by scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and supporting communication plans to keep teams and partners informed about project milestones.
  • Identify workflow improvements by streamlining processes to boost team efficiency.
  • Research emerging digital trends and present actionable recommendations to foster innovation.
  • Assist in project management of digital development and maintenance projects, including stakeholder/legal approval, translation, collaboration with designers, and coordination with internal/ external copywriters to manage project content and external agencies to deliver project content
  • Ensure all pages are accurate, function properly and comply with all RBC regulatory standards, design requirements and SEO/ AEO guidelines
  • Generate website analytics reports for key stakeholders
  • Act as a partner to and liaise with internal business partners
  • Ensure that project deliverables are of high quality and any development adheres to the standards of RBC
  • Manage maintenance process to ensure all requests are responded to in a timely manner

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite – Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses.
  • A strong desire to learn while moving projects forward
