• Work in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, including analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and deployment.
• Contribute to the innovation of TripIt's Android team, work with other teams towards improving mobile technologies.
• Work with other mobile team engineers to collaborate and share best practices.
• Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor's / Master's Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required.
• Excellent programming skills, good experience with mobile on Android using Java / Kotlin.
• Experience working on Unit testing, Dependency Injection, Gradle scripts.
• Experience with mobile accessibility is a bonus.
• Familiarity with Mobile Security / Encryption and other security solutions.
• Familiarity with web technologies such as REST, OAUTH2, SAML, GraphQL etc. is a bonus.
• Familiarity with common security tools and compliance standards that impact so
• An acute understanding of the importance of accountability and ownership around a service and commitment to the customer
• Experience with the Google Play Store.
• Experience in Travel Technology or consumer facing apps is a huge plus.
