A creative assassin who knows TikTok trends before they trend.
Someone who doesn’t just edit - they craft moments, create chaos (in the best way), and understand the power of the first 3 seconds. You should know how to cut with purpose, caption with punch, and layer visuals like an animal.
Excellent English skills are an absolute must - you’ll be working with fast-paced dialogue, on-screen text, and meme-style captions that need to land hard and read perfectly. Grammar, phrasing, and comedic timing matter here.
Edit TikToks and Reels that slap - fast-paced, high-retention, trend-infused content
Turn raw footage into viral-ready content with split screens, zooms, punch-ins, motion overlays, kinetic text, glitch effects, and whatever the algorithm’s craving today
Add smart captions, memes, trending audio, and visuals that demand attention
Stay 10 steps ahead of what’s hot on TikTok — sounds, memes, aesthetics, challenges
Collaborate with creatives, strategists, and clients to bring brand voices to life in short-form
Turn content around fast — because trends wait for no one
2–4+ years editing for TikTok/Reels/Shorts — with the videos to prove it
Mastery of CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve
An eye for story, flow, and pacing - you know what keeps people watching to the end
A deep understanding of TikTok’s visual language, humour, pacing, and trends
Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and keep quality sky high
Experience editing across niches like beauty, fitness, food, supplements, SaaS, or creators is a big plus
You’ve grown your own TikTok account (or helped someone else do it)
You’re comfortable animating in After Effects or building motion graphics
You geek out on retention analytics and CTR strategies
You’re constantly saving “that transition” or “that editing style” to your idea folder
