In this role, you will lead a team of skilled engineers to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software and data solutions. You will guide technical teams through architecture planning, development workflows, and best practices in software, AI, and cloud technologies. This position offers the opportunity to influence critical technical decisions, ensure operational excellence, and mentor engineers while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver impactful projects. You will work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment that emphasizes innovation, problem‑solving, and continuous learning. Remote collaboration across Latin America ensures flexibility while maintaining strong engagement with your team.

Accountabilities
  • Define architecture, deliverables, and timelines for software and data projects
  • Lead technical teams through scrum processes to deliver high‑value software solutions
  • Set goals, delegate tasks, and monitor team progress to ensure timely project completion
  • Collaborate with teams to identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring robust system performance
  • Conduct security audits and supervise system modifications for compliance and optimization
  • Liaise with stakeholders, management, and clients to ensure project standards and client satisfaction
  • Recruit, train, and mentor technical personnel, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing
  • Write progress reports and present technical updates to stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of software development experience in Python, Java, .NET, JavaScript/NodeJS, or modern data technologies
  • 7+ years of experience leading development teams
  • Strong proficiency in Linux and cloud platforms (AWS, Heroku, App Engine, or similar)
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as integration with third‑party APIs (RESTful, OAuth, JSON)
  • Solid English communication skills
  • Self‑driven, motivated, and passionate about problem‑solving and technical excellence
  • Expertise in backend development, scalable software architecture, and data systems
