Accountabilities
  • Manage, develop, analyze and summarize people data in a relevant, meaningful manner to drive talent decisions, process improvements and support strategic initiatives on a global basis.

This role will leverage technology to bring transactional and operational excellence in the world of human capital while continuing to enable quality workforce intelligence.

  • Developing and sharing analyses and insights across the network of HR, talent and business leaders across ALSTOM platforms and regions worldwide to enable better decision-making.
  • Designing, executing and measuring the effectiveness of global talent programs, which will include identifying issues, forming hypotheses and synthesizing conclusions into recommendations.
  • Develop and analyze People surveys and Talent metrics globally and communicate findings and recommendations on critical initiatives and influence HR leaders to take action on those findings
  • Conduct data analyses, such as regressions, factor analyses, t-tests and ANOVAs.
  • Serve as the expert in talent and engagement metrics and analytics utilizing technologies and multiple data sources, including SAP SucessFactors, to gather, synthesize and interpret talent data
  • Collaborate and partner with HR and business stakeholders from across the business to understand requirements and propose, design and establish meaningful metrics, dashboards and analyses to enable timely, informed talent decisions
  • Design and deploy measurement mechanisms, reporting tools, dashboards, and a review cadence to audit and monitor the progress, effectiveness and efficiency of ALSTOM's Talent Management tools, programs and processes
  • Develop a good level of understanding of the business challenges, organization structure & talent issues to identify relevant analyses and offer meaningful insights based on the talent & engagement data
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for ALSTOM Corporate leaders, business and HR leaders and the ALSTOM Talent Committee to propose recommendations and influence change related to ALSTOM's talent tools, programs and processes
  • Partner with the Corporate HR Operations team to leverage SAP Success Factor as the primary source for talent data and represent the Talent Management function in metrics and reporting design decisions to support advanced and predictive analytics
  • Support the data mapping, reporting and analytics requirements of the annual ALSTOM Opinion Survey and other (Eg. in-year pulse surveys as and when launched)
  • Support VP TM&OD on all global HR audits and data preparation viz AFNOR, IRIS, CMMI, DJSI,
  • Promote data governance and stewardship to improve overall data quality on people topics
  • Develop and continuously improve the People analytics strategy and approach reflecting the latest in analytics best practices
  • Train and coach others on the use and interpretation of talent metrics and analytics and develop this capability throughout the organization
  • Working closely with the PD / OD Director on special projects as applicable from time to time.
