A leading social care provider is looking for dedicated support workers to assist adults with various needs including learning disabilities and mental health issues. Responsibilities include providing personal care, promoting independence, and engaging clients in meaningful activities such as cooking and outings. Ideal candidates will possess good general education and a passion for making a difference. The role offers competitive pay and outstanding training and development opportunities.

Hours & Contract

Full time and Fixed Term ‑ Contract (12 months) ‑ 42 hour contract (Monday to Sunday on a rota basis)

Pay

£12.50 ‑ £12.76 (dependent on qualifications)

Role Overview
  • Support adults with lots of different needs such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI and mental health.
  • Support them to flourish in a place they call home. Empower the people we support to be ambitious and live fulfilled lives.
  • Give high‑quality support tailored to people’s needs.
  • Do activities like cooking, art or listening to music and get out for movie nights and food outings.
  • Provide personal care including support with continence needs; health and medication needs; handling personal possessions; finances and documents; shopping. Help them to have good levels of personal and environmental hygiene.
  • Follow our procedures to give consistent, safe and reliable care and support.
Key Skills and Experience — Essential
  • Good general education.
  • Honesty, reliability, trustworthiness and a passion to make a difference.
  • Commitment to the aims and objectives of the home and of Ivolve.
  • Satisfactory Police Check and check against the ISA List (where applicable).
  • A commitment to undertake training and development.
Key Skills and Experience — Desirable
  • RQF Level 2 or above in social care.
  • Previous experience within social care setting.
  • Knowledge and commitment regarding Equal Opportunities.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory frameworks.
  • Confident IT user.
