About the Role

As a member of our Strategic Finance team, you'll play a key role in scaling our financial reporting, analytics, and planning capabilities.

Your insights will directly support decision-makers across multiple teams and functions, fueling strategic and operational initiatives that shape the future of our business.

In this role, you'll help drive real-time decisions that support Uber's continued growth, operational efficiency, and profitability-while also creating more opportunities for the thousands of couriers, restaurants, and drivers who rely on our platform every day.

What you'll do

• Lead financial and operational planning in partnership with business leaders, developing financial forecasts and setting operational goals
• Build and enhance financial models to simplify complex business problems and provide actionable recommendations
• Drive execution excellence by turning strategic thinking into operational results in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Collaborate with accounting to improve management reporting and gain a deeper understanding of financial actuals
• Continuously learn and adapt, building new technical skills to keep pace with a dynamic business environment

What you’ll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, MIS, or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience in roles such as FP&A, investment banking, consulting, private equity, or business operations
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
• Strong fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal)
• Advanced analytical skills with a knack for building scalable, efficient, and user-friendly models
• Clear, effective communicator who can explain financial concepts to a wide range of stakeholders
• Self-starter with a proactive mindset-you take ownership and follow through
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment
• Team-oriented and collaborative-you thrive when working with others toward shared goals
• High attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality work
• Foundational knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with enterprise-level financial systems, SQL, or statistical software is a plus.
