Job Description

Salesforce Release Engineer with expertise in managing Salesforce deployments, release automation, CI / CD pipelines, and version control. The ideal candidate will work closely with development, admin, QA, and business teams to ensure smooth, accurate, and secure Salesforce releases across environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute Salesforce release cycles (Sprint deployments, Hotfixes, Patch Releases).
• Automate deployments using Salesforce DevOps tools (Flosum / Copado / Gearset / AutoRABIT).
• Set up and maintain CI / CD pipelines, version control strategy, and branching model (Git).
• Perform metadata and data deployments using Change Sets, DevOps tools, and Salesforce CLI (SFDX).
• Ensure code quality and compliance checks using static code analysis tools (PMD, SonarQube etc.).
• Perform sandbox refresh strategy, data seeding, and environment management.
• Troubleshoot deployment / release failures and provide root‑cause analysis.
• Document release processes, deployment logs, runbooks, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Developers, Admins, QA, Business Analysts).
• Maintain adherence to security, governance, and audit requirements during releases.
