Job Details

Under general supervision of the Depot Manager or other Supervisory / management level position within the facility, responsible for facility infrastructure and its equipment properly operation, validation / qualification, maintenance and improvements in compliance with the company internal procedures, policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

To comply with World Courier Standard Operating Procedures, following its general instructions concerning the Depot and Equipment’s of CTSCS Division.

To be familiar and carry out properly the procedures related to Equipment’s Automation, Guarantees, Maintenance and Services as established in World Courier SOPs.

To provide Technical Support in order to optimize critical building systems. These systems may include mechanical and electrical components, electronic controllers, automation systems, energy, and / or waste management.

To use effectively the building control system(s) to diagnose, troubleshoot, and optimize critical systems.

To oversee all technical building operations assuring that Depot system improvements meet the Depot Project as established by World Courier.

It may be required to make recommendations regarding critical building system modifications necessary to install, repair, replace or maintain all assigned equipment and installations.

To act as a technical resource and provide recommendations to the Depot Project Managers and Depot Pharmacists as necessary to implement the facility design changes.

To coordinate and delegate work effort of skilled personnel.

To develop new suppliers related to technical services and equipment supply.

To coordinate and supervise sub-contractor activities to ensure cost effective and project completion.

To assist the Depot Pharmacist to generate the Self Inspection reports.

To quote components and services with providers and inform the Country Manager and the Depot Project Manager.

To maintain a complete, comprehensive and updated database of all required documents related to the Depot and Equipment’s. (e.g. Technical manuals, Electric and Mechanical Diagrams, Layouts, etc).

Have access to CTM-Star Operative System in order to upload / revise the Depot Humidity and Temperature Reports.

To collaborate with the Depot Project Manager and Depot Pharmacists in the revision of the Depot’s Equipment documentation in order to keep track and control of the physical and electronic information and reports.

Collaborate with the Depot Project Manager and Depot Pharmacists in Equipment’s Change Control System, files and reports.

To monitor and coordinate the Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Program. To prepare and verify reports generated by these tasks (Almost of reports must be written in English). Equipment’s : Air conditioning, Refrigeration Systems, Cold Chambers, Power Generators, Security Building Systems, Pest Control, and others.

To ensure that appropriate maintenance and audit documentation is completed and filed.

To review all work and assure the performance is completed in accordance with established safety procedures.

To communicate with external providers on all issues concerning execution of contract policies.

To perform Power Generator tests following the SOPs and assure that the fuel tank is completely full.

Emergency, It may be required to be on call 24 / 7 to provide telephone assistance, to contact subcontractors, as well as emergency response to the facility.

To carry out properly World Courier emergency procedures in order to solve contingency problems in agreement with Depot Pharmacists to safeguard products stored within the facilities.

To contact the sub-contractors to perform corrective maintenance in case of equipment malfunction and generate the proper report following the SOPs

To investigate contingency’s cause and suggest preventive actions.

Alarm and monitoring, to monitor and maintain in properly function the Alarm and Monitoring System.

To generate the equipment’s and areas temperature reports. These reports are verified by the Depot Pharmacist.

To perform the alarm test, following the SOP’s

To monitor and analyze data in order to determine if the building systems and installations are performing efficiently.

Validations and calibrations

To elaborate Qualification Protocols following Quality Assurance instructions. The protocol is verified and approved by the Quality Assurance Specialist.

To perform the Qualifications following the protocols.

To elaborate Qualification Final Report. The report is verified and approved by the Quality Assurance Specialist.

To calibrate the sensors following the Quality Assurance Specialist instructions.

Education

Electric or Mechanic Engineering Degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience (10 years required)

Skills & Knowledge

Good knowledge of English Language : Written and Oral Skills

Demonstrated knowledge of various maintenance operations sufficient to deal with installation, service, and repairs.

Excellent problem solving, organizational, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate the activities of others.

Must be a team player, committed to working in a quality environment.

Reports directly to

Depot Manager.
