Role Overview

Bunge is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to lead the design and development of scalable, secure test automation solutions that span global Bunge platforms and cloud services. The architect will collaborate with global teams, provide technical leadership, and drive innovation that transforms business automation requirements into resilient, reusable solutions.

Essential Functions

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality, secure test automation architectures and platforms for global Bunge products.
• Lead the creation and evolution of enterprise‑wide automation frameworks, ensuring reusability, maintainability, and performance at scale.
• Apply deep technical expertise to recommend and roadmap solutions that solve complex, unprecedented problems.
• Design, debug, and monitor the performance of solutions, documenting best practices and sharing knowledge.
• Communicate new features, benefits, and technical insights to internal customers and stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership to Agile squads and/or DevOps teams, ranging in size from 6‑8 members throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop proof‑of‑concept projects to validate proposed solutions and bring alternative perspectives to solution design reviews.
• Demonstrate thought leadership and influence beyond the team scope, influencing decisions throughout Bunge.
• Accountable for developing and monitoring the solutions budget.
• Advise and support strategy and business technology leaders to understand, apply, monetize, and operationalize emerging technologies to transform automation requirements into scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience; computer science preferred.
• 6+ years in QA Automation Architecture roles with end‑to‑end automation design experience.
• 11+ years designing and developing large‑scale global automation solutions using methodologies such as Quality Engineering Automation Tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, Cucumber, Postman, Selenium TOSCA or similar.
• Proficiency in complex automated test suites for SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Microsoft, Google, GPC, and integration platforms.
• Develop and maintain test plans covering all product aspects; automate test cases to reduce manual effort, improve coverage, and reduce timelines.
• Lead and execute automated test scripts across applications, working with development teams to identify and fix defects early.
• Extensive architecting test automation suite experience with standard creation, enforcement, and monitoring.
• Advanced programming skills in automation systems and databases.
• Familiarity with Java and VBScript; strong understanding of API testing with TestNG, Rest Assured, Web Services, and SQL database development.
• Integrate cloud automation solutions into CI/CD pipelines and software delivery processes.
• Use knowledge of Bunge’s business structure and strategy to develop innovative solutions that improve results or eliminate problems.
• Build partnerships, influence, foster talent, and coach others.
• Drive results through high standards, focus on key priorities, and prepare others for change.
