Job Title: Snowflake Architect

Location: Brazil (remote)

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect for a 6-month contract supporting a key client’s data migration project. You'll design and implement scalable architectures to migrate legacy systems to Snowflake, ensuring seamless data pipelines, optimization, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and lead Snowflake migration, including schema design, ETL processes, and integration with tools like dbt, Fivetran, or Matillion.
• Optimize performance, data loading, and query efficiency using Snowflake features (e.g., clustering, materialized views, and resource monitors).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define migration strategies, handle data quality checks, and implement governance best practices.
• Ensure compliance with security standards (e.g., role-based access control) during the migration.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Snowflake Architect or similar role, with proven expertise in large-scale data migrations.
• Advanced proficiency in Snowflake SQL, Snowpark, and integration with cloud platforms (AWS).
• Hands‑on experience with data modeling, warehousing, and tools like dbt
• Snowflake certification (e.g., SnowPro Core/Advanced Architect) preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration.
