A leading technology consultancy is seeking a ServiceNow Developer specializing in Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and ITSM for a fully remote position. You'll assist in business requirements, design and implement SPM solutions, and integrate with other systems. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in IT and 3+ years of experience in the ServiceNow platform, particularly the SPM module. Strong knowledge of ITIL principles and JavaScript is essential to excel in this role.

Title: ServiceNow Developer with Strategic Portfolio Management(SPM) & ITSM Location : 100% Remote

Job Type: Contract

Job Specific Responsibilities

• Have the ability to assist requesters in refining business requirement details to ensure the customers will be receiving functionality requested.
• Gain knowledge of our overall ServiceNow implementation to understand and identify cross platform impacts of changes or enhancements being requested.
• Design, develop, and implement SPM solutions including workflows, catalog items, workspaces, and integrations to meet complex business requirements
• Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform using javascript and ServiceNow APIs to extend capabilities and enhance user experience
• Design and implement workflows to support business needs and increase automation
• Develop and configure integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using integration spokes or custom APIs
• Work within the Agile methodology to develop, build and test alongside other developers to ensure the best product is delivered to requestors in a timely manner
• Work with implementation partners, or internal project teams to Implement new modules as business needs evolve
• Assist with regular ServiceNow version upgrades to ensure we remain compliant and supported by the vendor

Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a relevant technical field
• At least 3+ years experience working with the ServiceNow platform, specifically in the SPM module, and with good familiarity with ITSM, and the general ServiceNow platform
• Strong understanding of ITIL principles and practices
• Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow API web services
• Proven experience with integrating ServiceNow with other applications
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
