About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Recruiter to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in driving our growth. As a key member of our Talent Acquisition team, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and closing top-tier tech talent across the Americas. You will be instrumental in understanding the intricacies of the US tech market, building strong relationships with candidates and clients, and meeting aggressive hiring targets, including sourcing at least one qualified candidate per open position.

Requirement:

  • Talent Acquisition:
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Source, screen, and assess technical candidates across various technology domains, including software engineering, data science, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies, leveraging various channels like job boards, social media, and professional networks.
  • Conduct basic technical screening to evaluate candidates' skills and cultural fit when needed.
  • Negotiate competitive compensation packages and close deals efficiently.
  • Proven track record of successfully recruiting technical talent, particularly in the US market.
  • Strong understanding of the US tech industry, including emerging technologies and trends.
  • Manage and mentor a team of 2-3 technical recruiters.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance their recruitment skills.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Implement innovative recruitment tools and technologies to streamline the hiring process. Proficiency in using Custom recruitment tools and technologies (e.g., ATS, CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive continuous process optimization and efficiency gains.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and business leaders to understand their hiring needs.
  • Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and proactively address any challenges.
  • Collaborate with the CTO to align recruitment strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Reporting and Analytics:
  • Prepare detailed daily reports on recruitment activities, bottlenecks, and performance metrics.
  • Take ownership of recruitment failures and propose effective remediation strategies.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to optimize recruitment efforts.

Overview: Join us as a Senior Technical Lead Engineer at AORO, which is a digital gold platform built to power the next generation of transactions on Web3 infrastructure and financial rails. We’re looking for a driven, capable lead that is up for the challenge of refining existing architecture and systems, and creating upcoming architecture to support products in the roadmap. You must have the grit and determination, but also be a hands-on engineer. You need to love to code, but also to see the bigger picture and most importantly, have integrity. You will be working alongside the CEO, CTO, and rest of the engineering team.

Responsibilities:

- Development in python, as we continuously architect and refine microservices.

- Create GraphQL, APIs.

- Orchestration and synchronization of messaging systems.

- Payment integrations, web3 integrations.

- Maintain CI/CD pipelines to deliver holistic solutions.

- Engineering smart contracts and other blockchain technologies.

- Database architecture, design, and implementation.

- Craft, optimize, and manage APIs for seamless data exchange.

- Tackle system optimization, performance, privacy, and data encryption challenges.

- Champion iterative development and continuous enhancement.

- Stay at the forefront of trends in Cryptocurrencies, Web3, Blockchain technologies, Kafka, Event architecture, GraphQL, Apollo, Microservices, Systems, and API design.

Skills:

- Advanced proficiency in Synchronous systems, GraphQL, Python, Kafka, and Microservices architecture.

- Secure, performant database design and cryptography.

- Seamless integration with external messaging and payment platforms.

- Event-driven systems and synchronous systems.

- CI/CD pipeline implementation for automated deployment.

- Breadth of experience in API development for seamless data interaction.

- Automation, Git version control, and collaborative workflows.

- Kafka, Apollo, Node.js, Python, and SQL databases.

Requirements:

- 10-15 years of Systems Engineering experience, specializing in Microservices, Systems Engineering, Database design, Event-driven architecture, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, CI/CD, Infrastructure, and API development.

- Demonstrated and led success in real-world, real-time high throughput systems with hundreds of thousands of users, employing secure, performant, and efficient backend design and implementation.

- Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

- Knowledge of web3/crypto derived from personal or professional industry experience.
