Your mission :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Architect to join our dynamic and innovative team.

You will play a critical role in the design and development of the software solutions for the operation of our satellite constellation, ensuring they meet our business needs and adhere to best practices in software architecture and design.

This includes :

• Architectural Design: Develop and maintain the overall software architecture, ensuring it aligns with the company's strategic goals and technical standards
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring that projects are implemented effectively and efficiently
• Coding and Development: Act as a hands‑on contributor by coding and participating in the development process, as needed
• System Integration: Oversee the integration of various software components and third‑party systems, ensuring seamless interoperability
• Technology Evaluation: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential to enhance the company's software solutions
• Backlog management: Act as a bridge between project managers, developers, and stakeholders, facilitating technical communication and collaboration in order to help prioritize backlog items
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed architectural and technical documentation

What you bring on the table :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Software Architect or a similar role with at least 6 years of experience
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and a strong understanding of software design patterns and principles
• Experience with cloud‑based technologies and microservices architectures
• Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and spoken English
• A track record of successfully delivering complex software projects
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) would be beneficial

Rivada Space Networks is deploying the first true "OuterNET" : a global low latency point‑to‑point connectivity network of LEO satellites.

By connecting our satellites with lasers, we will provide resellers and B2B customers with the ability to securely connect any two points on the globe with low latency and high bandwidth.

The constellations, comprising 600 low‑earth‑orbit communications satellites, will represent a fundamental change in the availability of secure, global, end‑to‑end enterprise‑grade connectivity for Telecom, Enterprise, Maritime, Energy and Government Services markets.
