What you will do

The Sr Finance Analyst will support Business Planning & Actual Results and the periodic Forecast Updates processes with business partners, ensuring reliability of the information and its timely submission. He/She will be partnered with key financial and senior business stakeholders to analyze variation in budget vs actual drivers, operational metrics and frame results. This role will support Senior Leadership Team, Make/QA/Plan/RMC to achieve visibility on numbers.

The analyst will collaborate to ensure reliability of the financial information, provide insightful commentary on financial drivers, communicate risks and opportunities, and ensure compliance. This role will identify and implement opportunities to enhance financial analytics, capabilities within their finance team, work in simplification and standardization, deliver clear information to support decision‑making, and influence the business. Additionally, they will implement process improvements by utilizing AI tools to optimize time and accelerate delivery of results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform analytics and reporting: review and communicate performance drivers, metrics, risks and opportunities and associated action plans.
  • Planning and Forecasting: work with LATAM business partners to challenge assumptions, build models, review financial outputs with management, and influence decision‑making. Provide inputs in the financial planning process.
  • Conduct BVA meetings and address necessary actions to fulfill financial commitments.
  • Perform closing activities to ensure continuous monitoring of the business’s monthly budget for cost effectiveness and accuracy.
  • Risk management: run different financial scenarios for budget, based on volume and macroeconomics figures to provide recommendations to financially manage the business and communicate risks and opportunities.
  • Strategy and Decision Support: provide financial support to business cases for investment decisions and cost saving opportunities and actively contribute to site strategy. Support decision‑making with comprehensive research and analysis.
  • Support continuous improvements for financial processes/analytics and other ad hoc analyses/projects.
  • Audit and Compliance: oversee internal controls for both US/SOX and local statutory requirements, support internal and external audits.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in finance, administration, economics or engineering.
  • Advanced Excel and experience with Power BI.
  • Experience with SAP system.
  • Professional with strong communication skills, able to interact with senior management.
  • Strong collaboration and demonstrated business partnering with the ability to influence.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Proactiveness and intellectual curiosity.
  • General knowledge of supply chain processes.
  • Advanced level of English is required for this position.
  • Intermediate or higher levels of Spanish can be considered a differential.
