What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Identify and close new business opportunities to achieve assigned net revenue goals
- Develop and execute a sales plan for new net revenue growth
- Maintain a qualified sales pipeline for the employer\'s logistics services
- Build and strengthen relationships with potential and existing customers, focusing on chemical logistics solutions
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve client objections and drive results
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus
- 10+ years of experience in sales within the logistics or supply chain industry
- Proven track record of closing freight management opportunities with TMS technology
- 10+ years of logistics sales and relationship management experience with middle market companies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with analytical capabilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience in complex contract negotiations with clients and legal counsel
- Ability to create innovative solutions for clients\' logistics and supply chain needs
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com, PowerPoint, Excel, and other MS Office products
- Strong networking and people skills
