Sales And Marketing Representative

PetroHire provides innovative outsourcing solutions to the transportation industry focusing primarily on finding talent for logistics and back office roles within Oil & Gas, Construction and Over the road. We are looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Representative with a strong background in outsourcing (ideally in Oil and Gas or Transportation) to help expand our client base and fuel our growth. We are interested in a self starter who is passionate about their job and resolving challenges individually as well as in a team environment. Someone who is not bothered by rejection but rather interested in finding opportunities.

Position Overview

The Sales And Marketing Representative is a 100% remote role that is key in generating new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and supporting the organization in driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in cold calling, understand client needs, and be adept at identifying and pursuing sales opportunities. In essence, someone with a proven track record of funnel management and sales excellence.

English fluency is a must!
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:
  • Identify and target new business opportunities within the Oil and Gas sectors from hundreds of weekly leads through qualifying, networking, cold-calling, and outreach campaigns.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and prospects using CRM tools and sales automation software.
  • Client Engagement & Relationship Building:
  • Initiate conversations with potential clients, develop rapport, and qualify prospects based on business needs.
  • Conduct discovery calls and meetings to understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Sales Outreach & Qualification:
  • Engage with decision‑makers, including C‑level executives, Operations managers, and other key stakeholders, to identify potential outsourcing solutions that align with their business objectives.
  • Qualify leads and set up meetings for senior sales team members to close deals.
  • Market Research & Industry Insights:
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the O&G and Transportation BPO sectors.
  • Leverage industry knowledge to position PetroHire’s solutions as valuable options for potential clients.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to develop sales strategies, improve lead generation tactics, and align messaging.
  • Track and report on key metrics such as lead conversion rates, sales cycle times, number of weekly calls, and revenue generated.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, ideally in the outsourcing and people industry
  • 2+ years of marketing experience, using and other channels
  • Proven track record of successfully generating leads, prospecting, and qualifying new business in B2B environments.
  • Industry Knowledge:
  • Solid understanding of outsourcing, tools used, and the technology landscape.
  • Sales Skills:
  • Strong ability to communicate value propositions, engage with prospects, and close deals. Comfortable with both inbound and outbound sales processes.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Must be 100% fluent in English (verbal and written)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior executives and logistics teams. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to build and maintain long‑term relationships.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Comfortable using CRM tools (Zoho CRM / Zoho ATS), Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, and sales engagement platforms.
  • Problem‑Solving:
  • Ability to understand client pain points and recommend the most appropriate solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
  • Familiarity with sales automation tools and CRM software.
  • Prior experience selling to the Oil and Gas or Transportation industries
