What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Provide field access support services and education to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) to maximize patient access to company products
  • Communicate with Specialty Pharmacies (SPs) and Closed Door Pharmacies (CDPs) to support marketed products
  • Train and educate HCPs on payer‑specific coverage policies and patient financial assistance programs
  • Identify and resolve coverage and patient access issues while collaborating with field sales and corporate teams
  • Monitor and uphold the integrity of the pharmacy distribution network through vetting and compliance activities
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • BS/BA degree in a related field AND 6+ years of pharma/biotech commercial experience, with 2+ years in specialty pharmacy/market access
  • Strong understanding of specialty pharmacies, managed care, and pharmacy benefit managers
  • Excellent knowledge of patient support programs and the prescription adjudication process
  • Ability to communicate payer coverage criteria and prior authorization processes
  • Willingness to travel overnight up to 60%
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred AND 4+ years of related experience OR PharmD or PhD with 2+ years of related experience
  • Previous experience in multiple functions within pharma/biotech, such as sales, management, or marketing
  • Familiarity with current issues in the pharmaceutical industry and national healthcare system
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams
  • Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy
