Reporting to the Finance and Chief Financial Officer - Vice President, the Regional Finance Director is responsible for supporting the country business teams in the areas of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, variance analyses, data modelling, and analytics to drive sustained profitable business growth for Videojet Latin America (plus Mexico).

The Finance Director will need to focus on the bigger picture and long-term results, and also ensure day-to-day execution of the right actions on time in a compliant manner with the help of his / her team and will be located in Sao Paulo or CDMX.

In this role, a typical day will look like :

• Create and own the monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts for the Sales & Service Organizations.
• Improve profitability and balance sheet through monthly analysis of revenue, cost and inventory variances.
• Use the analyses to lead initiatives for the business to improve Product mix, Pricing, Discounts, AP and AR.
• Build and lead the team and processes for AR, AP, Invoicing, Credit and Taxation functions.
• Controllership of existing and new agreements with distributors, strategic partners, vendors, and Global manufacturing plants.
• Consolidation and reporting of budget for all regions.
• Analyze spending trends and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
• Provide advisory and consultative support to the team on all finance-related areas, including accounting policies and other compliance requirements.
• Work closely with the Videojet Global, Product Quality & Innovation OpCo finance teams.
• Veralto Latin America to ensure upkeep of the highest financial integrity standards while conducting business.
• Ensure compliance requirements for all internal and external stakeholders.

The essential requirements of the job include :

• 10+ years of experience in finance-roles, with at least 5 years leading multi-national teams in a Commercial Finance role, working closely with Global and cross functional teams in a matrix environment.
• Experience leading and inspiring teams fostering a collaborative and high performance culture.
• Excellent knowledge of forecasting techniques.
• Strong accounting background, especially revenue / expense recognition rule with extensive experience in financial forecasting and modelling.
• Great data visualization and presentation skills to provide recommendations based on insight.
• Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects across critical yet often fluctuating deadlines - and with sometimes minimal and/or ambiguous input from stakeholders.
• Up to 25% travel required.

Preferred skills :

• Chartered Certified.
