The ideal candidate will hold a Doctorate and have published at least 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals over the last five years. Responsibilities include assessing manuscript originality, evaluating study designs, and providing constructive feedback. This part-time position offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to contribute to academic publishing.

Qualificações

• Published at least 30 papers in SCIE/SSCI/AHCI journals in the past five years.
• Thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate whether the manuscript is original and adds new knowledge.
• Check whether the study design and methods are appropriate.
• Ensure the manuscript incorporates and cites relevant research.
• Determine whether results are presented clearly and appropriately.
• Suggest improvements and highlight any flaws or omissions.
• Decide whether the manuscript should be accepted, revised, or rejected.

• Literature Review: Ensure the manuscript thoroughly incorporates and cites relevant, up-to-date research in the field.
• Analyse Results and Conclusions: Determine whether results are presented clearly and appropriately, and whether conclusions are supported by the data and significant to the field.
• Provide Constructive Feedback: Suggest improvements and highlight any flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
• Recommend Publication: Based on your evaluation, the journal editor will decide whether the manuscript should be accepted, revised, or rejected.
