A leader in energy analytics is seeking a Petroleum Economics Analyst to join their Vantage Asset Valuation team in Rio de Janeiro. This role involves providing expert fiscal and economic analysis, developing complex cash flow models, and responding to customer inquiries with subject matter expertise. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in economics or finance and be fluent in Portuguese. The Petroleum Economics Analyst, Latin America functions as a member of the Vantage Asset Valuation team, providing expert fiscal, economic and financial analysis of upstream assets in Latin America for a wide-ranging customer base. You will become a subject matter expert on oil and gas fiscal modelling, working alongside a global team of experienced researchers and engineers. You will build your knowledge around the wider upstream industry as it, and S&P Global, adapts and evolves with the energy expansion. You’ll be a key contact for fiscal research and economic modelling in your region for both internal and external customers.
