About the role
We’re seeking an Operations & Finance Specialist (Americas) to support daily operations and ensure accurate financial processes. You’ll prepare proposals and billing, maintain project structures, coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams, handle bookkeeping and financial reporting, manage payments and AR, and support compliance with local filings.
In this role you will get to :
Operations responsibilities
- Preparing customer proposals
- Billing customers
- Collaborating with our Project Managers to create, update and supervise the structure and budget of customer projects in our internal system
- Maintaining clear communication with customers and vendors
- Reviewing and validating vendor invoices
- Serving as the main point of contact for internal team members needing training and support with our internal system
- Coordinating between global and local management teams
- Performing various sales administration tasks as needed
- Providing administrative support to multiple departments, including Operations, Marketing, and Human Resources
Finance responsibilities
- Book-keeping for the entities located in the region
- Preparing finance reports as per Global Finance guidelines
- Presenting monthly financial results to the respective stakeholders
- Banking, payment, employee expense, cashflow, AR collection, and dunning
- Working closely with the local CPA firm and tax agents to fulfil all mandatory financial and tax filing requirements
- Interacting with global, regional, and local management for all accounting questions
- Supporting the global team in HR / Legal matters when required.
What we are looking for
Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting and / or Finance is required.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar position at an international company. Advantage : Degree in Business / Economics / Law
- Book-keeping and a whole set of accounting experience
- Sales operations experience for multi-national customers
- Business administration experience
- Experience working for a global organization
Technical Skills
- Nice to have : SAP Business One knowledge
Language skills
- English : Proficient – Mandatory
- Portuguese – Mandatory
Personal Skills
- Availability and willingness to be involved in new tasks
- Excellent organization and communication skills
