For an international Food Ingredients Distributor, acting in Europe, Africa and West Asia we are looking for a
Technical Sales Manager Food Ingredients
- You will sell valued added Food Ingredients to the Food and Beverage Industry
- Markets are Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland
- You will be responsible for the business development of a selection of food ingredients in different branches of the food industry.
- Target is to open a Sales office
- This is a B2B Job and not for candidates from Hotels, Restaurants etc.
Tasks
- Analysis of the market and the product range of our suppliers to find new potentials
- Responsible for making market strategy, purchasing, and selling of assigned Product-groups
- Building a close relationship with our suppliers and customers
- Visits of customers, analysis of their needs, creation of value propositions
- Participation in production trials at the customer/implementation of small-scale trials in the application kitchen
- Project management in close cooperation with the responsible Customer Service Manager
- Alignment of the sales strategy for the product groups of the suppliers with the help of the Category Managers
- You will benefit from numerous pieces of training (internal and abroad) every year.
- Discover and understand customer’s needs and develop tailor‑made solutions
- Conduct lab, small-scale or industrial trials with customers
- Follow up offers, payments, …
- Develop and execute Sales Budget and forecasts …
Requirements
- Degree in Food Technology Must have
- Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development
- exceptionally good communication, negotiation and analytical skills,
- high willingness to travel
- very organized, reliable, positive thinking
- Very good knowledge of a local languas and English (fluent in spoken and written) Must have
- you have a valid driving license Must have
