Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking detail-oriented and dependable Non-Phone Chat Moderators to join our growing remote workforce. This is a fully work-from-home position designed for individuals who prefer text-based communication and excel in maintaining safe, respectful, and engaging online environments. As a Chat Moderator, you will monitor and respond to user interactions through online chat platforms, ensuring compliance with community guidelines while delivering a positive user experience. No phone calls are required for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor live chat rooms, forums, and messaging platforms to ensure conversations align with company policies and community standards

  • Respond to user inquiries and messages in a professional, timely, and courteous manner

  • Identify, flag, and elevate inappropriate, abusive, or policy-violating content

  • Enforce chat rules consistently while maintaining a friendly and neutral tone

  • Provide basic guidance and support to users through written communication

  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, actions taken, and user interactions

  • Collaborate with supervisors and moderation teams to improve moderation practices

  • Stay up to date with platform guidelines, updates, and moderation procedures
