Job Purpose & Summary :
Develop and implement the marketing strategy for the entire Latin-American region, focusing on Ostomy Care and Continence Care.
This includes market penetration, product positioning, and pricing strategies to enhance the organization's competitive position.
Ensure alignment with Convatec's overall mission, vision, and objectives.
Define strategic messages and concepts for the sales force and market, tailoring them to regional and country-specific needs.
Lead the marketing team, providing direction and focus on market demands in each region / country, and ensuring alignment with the overarching marketing strategy.
Emphasize digital marketing, customer insights, partnership development, budget management, and innovation to drive growth and maintain a competitive edge.
Key Accountabilities :
Activities may include market research, product launch, pricing, marketing communications, advertising and promotions.
- Lead, direct, and control marketing policies, programs, and activities to meet business objectives, comply with regulations and standards, and protect the organization's reputation.
- Monitor, analyses, and evaluate market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify market opportunities; adjust marketing strategy and plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions.
- Liaise with senior executives across the organization to ensure marketing strategies and activities are integrated with other parts of the business and align with the overall regional level objectives.
- Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of marketing to achieve established sales and profit goals.
- Identify list of KOLs who are high focus for Convatec and define the method of engagement; and estimate spend necessary for building / continuing relationships with said KOLs
- Digital Marketing Strategy : Implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing, to enhance online presence and engagement across Latin America.
- Customer Insights and Feedback : Implement mechanisms and programs like me+ to gather and analyze customer feedback and insights, ensuring marketing strategies are customer-centric and address the evolving needs of the market.
- Partnership Development, Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, industry associations, and influencers, to expand market reach and brand credibility.
- Budget Management, Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI and support strategic marketing initiatives.
- Innovation and Trends, Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations, integrating new marketing technologies and approaches to maintain a competitive edge and drive market growth.
- Analyze data to identify key pain points across customer and patient journeys, developing insights that drive actionable growth strategies.
- Uncover and prioritize growth opportunities that align with business ambitions and meet customer and patient needs, ensuring a strategic focus on high-impact areas.
- Drive growth by developing well-researched portfolios of solutions (products and services) and brands based on deep customer and patient understanding.
- Create innovative solutions that better meet customer and patient needs, and develop distinctive brands that align with Convatec's mission.
- Craft relevant value propositions that address key customer and patient needs, ensuring they resonate across all touchpoints.
- Implement and execute campaign plans that reach target customers and patients at the right time, with the right channels and messaging, driving business growth and improving performance through continuous measurement and learning.
Knowledge and Experience :
- Extensive progressive marketing generalist experience in environments that value excellence and drive high standards.
- Deep understanding of the Medical Devices business in LATAM region, preferably in Ostomy Care, Critical Care and Infusion Devices.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Trilingual (English - Portuguese - Spanish).
- Enthusiastic with planning and executing challenging projects and business plans.
- Capability to engage with executive and Sr leadership.
- Able to lead teams and lead by example.
- Strong business and P&L acumen.
- Depth of understanding of business dynamics and ability to influence and challenge at executive and senior levels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, often with conflicting demands / timelines.
- Execution oriented with strong project management, problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
