Qualificações

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Director, Global Lead Transactions Paralegal, the Legal Assistant, LATAM will be a key team member of the Americas Legal team, responsible for drafting agreements and amendments, drafting and reviewing NDAs, monitoring and managing workflow and assignments in ticketing and contract management systems, validating redlined and executed contracts, routing and tracking contracts through electronic signature processes, maintaining contracted repositories, and performing general office tasks such as calendaring, docketing, and filings.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Work closely with in‑house counsel, paralegals, contract analysts and other legal professionals to manage contracting and business activities with clients, suppliers, and strategic partners.
  • Assist with managing workflow and assignments in ticketing system(s) and contract management system(s) – validate redlined and executed contracts, prepare executables for signature and route through electronic signature.
  • Maintain contracts template library and store executed contracts.
  • Maintain organized electronic legal files and records, including processing additions and research.
  • Maintain internal repositories and trackers.
  • Assist with special administrative projects as assigned.
  • Perform word processing and other general administrative tasks.
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience at a law firm or in‑house legal department.
  • Experience in an administrative professional role is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, ServiceNow and Smartsheet software is a plus.
Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Highly skilled at MS Office Suite (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Experience working with ticketing systems, contract management systems, electronic signature software and PDF reader software.

Education

Associate’s degree, certificate program or equivalent practical experience; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Language

Fluent Portuguese and English; Spanish a plus.
