Lead Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer / Engineering Manager to lead and manage our growing tech team. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone with deep technical expertise and strong experience managing teams and delivering high-quality software.

You will be responsible for guiding architecture decisions, solving complex technical problems, and ensuring smooth execution across backend, frontend, and AI teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a tech team of:
• 2 Frontend Engineers
• Own the entire software development lifecycle from planning to deployment
• Act as a hands‑on technical leader (coding, code reviews, architecture decisions)
• Solve complex technical challenges and unblock the team
• Ensure tasks are delivered on time, with high quality and scalability
• Improve engineering processes, standards, and best practices

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong hands‑on experience with Golang (Go) and Python (must-have)
• Proven experience leading and managing engineering teams
• Strong understanding of backend systems, APIs, and scalable architectures
• Experience working with cloud platforms:
• DigitalOcean
• Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience working with AI / ML engineers and AI-powered systems
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI / CD pipelines
• Startup or fast‑paced product development experience
