A leading global online retailer is looking for a candidate responsible for driving the analysis of public policy issues affecting its business in Brazil. This role involves fostering strategic partnerships and translating policy engagements into commercial outcomes. Ideal applicants must have at least 10 years of experience in public affairs or government relations, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English and Portuguese. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the analysis and providing assessment of relevant public policy issues and their implications on SHEIN’s business interests in Brazil. He / she is responsible for fostering strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and translating policy engagements into tangible commercial outcomes to advance SHEIN’s market access and expansion efforts in Brazil. He / she will also plan, organise and manage SHEIN’s various stakeholder engagement platforms in Brazil, in support of the objective to expand and enhance our collaborations with key stakeholders from various backgrounds such as political / regulatory stakeholders, civil society, industry associations and other public arenas.
In this role, the candidate must be able to work effectively with various teams, including the Customer Service, Sustainability, Legal, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams, to advance SHEIN’s corporate interests in Brazil. He / she should possess a deep interest and ability to understand how politics, business, fashion, sustainability, technology and innovation, as well as international relations are interconnected.
