What You'll Do

We are seeking a Global Strategic Marketing Manager, Hair Care to join our diverse and innovative team. This role is based in either Brecksville, OH (USA) or São Paulo, Brazil , and is ideal for strategic marketing professionals who are passionate about the hair care industry and eager to make a meaningful impact on a global scale.

In this role, you will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies that drive brand growth, elevate consumer engagement, and expand our hair care portfolio worldwide. Success in this role requires a combination of strategic insight, creative thinking, and analytical rigor to deliver marketing programs that resonate across varied cultural and regional marke

What We're Looking For
  • Strategic Marketing Leadership : Develop and implement the global marketing strategy for the Hair Care – Leave On segment to achieve target market positioning. Align global and regional strategies and ensure seamless execution across markets. Interface across functions to lead initiatives that differentiate Lubrizol in the Beauty, Home, Pharma, and Nutra segments
  • Innovation and Portfolio Development : Identify portfolio gaps and activate innovation initiatives to drive market success. Analyze market trends to inform product positioning and value propositions.
  • Customer and Market Engagement : Conduct voice-of-customer interviews and pipeline previews with strategic customers. Collaborate with promotional marketing on campaigns, tools, and event activations.
  • Product Launch and Commercial Execution : Lead new product launches, including positioning, pricing, and placement strategies. Partner with product management on pricing strategies to meet financial and growth targets.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration and Enablement : Lead the global marketing function, collaborating with regional and cross-functional teams. Provide guidance to regional sales, marketing, and technical teams on growth initiatives.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting : Track and report KPIs for strategic initiatives and new product sales monthly.
Skills That Make a Difference
  • Preferred : Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and MBA (or equivalent). Relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education
  • Required : Direct experience in the Hair Care industry, preferably within the Leave-On segment, with a strong understanding of market dynamics and consumer trends.
  • At least 10 years of marketing experience in B2B and / or B2C environments
  • Proven experience in New Product Development, including leading product launches from concept to commercialization.
  • Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Comfortable with international travel, approximately 20 to 25%.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to craft persuasive messaging, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and present ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Proven leadership in managing complex projects and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations, with a track record of building effective partnerships across customer service, supply chain, product management, and demand planning.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles, market dynamics, and pricing strategies.
  • Highly adaptable and resilient, able to navigate change and ambiguity with confidence.
