A global project management firm is seeking a Project Manager in Salvador, BA. The role requires overseeing construction projects, managing costs, and leading client interactions. Candidates should possess an engineering or architecture degree and solid construction experience. This full-time position offers an inclusive work environment but does not allow remote work.

Responsibilities
  • Project Manager will take responsibility for end-to-end service delivery. To ensure that client objectives are met through the delivery of an effective service. Interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages. Responsible of manage overall project cost schedule and budgets as well as manage general contractor and other directly contracted vendors and consultants.
  • Responsible to review construction proposals and related pricing / scopes correct and assess work-in-place to approve capital expenditure spends including the revision of cost estimates prepared by contractors and others within a clients organization.
  • This professional will also be planning organizing scheduling directing and controlling the delivery of the project on time.
  • Analyze track and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
  • Run and lead client and other required meetings presenting updates to the client at all project stages.
  • Identify the factors that influence construction costs and can monitor and report on this data.
  • Support engineering decisions relating to the project cost and budget while design-build changes take place during construction.
  • Review requests for payment.
  • Track and ensure equipment meet the project schedule.
  • Record occurrences that might result in a claim - acting on the clients behalf.
  • Advocate on the part of the client during disputes disagreements modifications or change orders.
  • Coordinate and oversee scheduling consultant reviews on the project.
  • Review and approve final invoices payment applications retention payments.
  • Oversee and manage the transfer of the building operations to the client including all close out documentation and warranties.
  • Collaborative approach be client facing able to develop strong relationships confidently present to clients and stakeholders.
  • Be assertive and detail oriented identify potential issues early and raise them in the appropriate forum for resolution.
  • Demonstrable record of accomplishment in the delivery of relevant projects.
  • Advanced skills with spreadsheets report writing and presentations.
  • Management experience with ability to manage and lead team in delivering a commission and general line management.
  • Manage revenue team resources and priorities to ensure that client expectations are met.
Qualifications
  • Fluent in English at a working level to lead meetings prepare reports and written communication do presentations and talk to clients and suppliers.
  • Availability to live and work in Salvador / BA.
  • Solid experience as a project manager in construction.
  • Engineering degree architectural degree or any construction related degree is mandatory.
  • Construction experience is mandatory.
  • PMI or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Microsoft Office tools is mandatory.
