We're looking for someone who combines technical expertise with user empathy—someone who loves solving complex problems, navigating cross‑functional systems, and helping people work smarter.

If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.

In this role you will

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR) and internal information security policies.
  • Track system performance and cost‑efficiency; identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
  • Manage product lifecycle for new features and tools from prioritization through to implementation.
  • Facilitate a community of practice with global / local administrators and key stakeholders.
  • Identify and evaluate new tools that align with business needs and strategic objectives.
  • Contribute to business continuity by ensuring backup solutions, exit strategies, and failover processes are documented and in place.
What we're looking for
  • A Bachelor's degree, or / and MSc, college diploma or equivalent work experience in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems or related field in an international setting.
  • Preferably, minimum 5 years' experience in a Functional Applications Manager or similar role focused on SaaS ecosystems.
  • Strong grasp of business processes across HR, finance, procurement, and operations.
  • Ability to manage and communicate with vendors, track roadmaps, and deliver feature updates smoothly.
  • Familiarity with IT governance frameworks (e.g. ITIL, Agile) and compliance standards (e.g. GDPR).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information for non‑technical audiences.
  • Understanding of access management principles, security best practices, and incident response.
  • Hands‑on experience with APIs and Python is an advantage.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and training skills.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written), with an additional language as a bonus.
  • Able to remain responsive and adaptable, balancing ongoing project work with urgent support needs.
  • Demonstrable support for and belief in the Greenpeace network core aims and values.
  • Digital literacy skills - the ability to learn and utilise our digital platforms to successfully perform the role function (familiarity with G‑Suite, Slack and Zoom is an advantage).
What you can expect

When joining the GPI Global IT Functional Application Management team, you will be part of a diverse, purpose‑driven group of professionals who care about making systems work better for Greenpeace's people and the planet.
