Jr. Full-Stack Engineer (2+ yrs of experience) – 100% Remote | Contract | English Fluency | Brazil Based

We’re partnering with a global digital platform company that operates one of the world’s largest online ecosystems for communities, conversations, and user-generated content. Their mission is to empower people to connect around shared interests and cultural moments, enabling authentic discussion and high-impact digital experiences at massive scale.

They are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to lead the creation of in-app community experiences inside the social media ecosystem, with a strong focus on high-engagement cultural moments in the UK.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead the conceptualization, design, and execution of in-app community experiences tailored to high-interest UK cultural moments
• Build and launch robust, scalable client-side features using the Devvit Developer Platform
• Translate cultural trends and community needs into high-performance web applications within Reddit, owning the full development lifecycle from idea to deployment
• Develop a deep understanding of community culture and technical needs to rapidly iterate on content, features, and engagement strategies
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to turn growth strategies and community feedback into clear technical requirements
• Analyze application performance and usage data to guide prioritization and iteration

Technical Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack web development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Demonstrable experience with React and modern front-end development
• Experience building and deploying server-side applications using Node.js (Express, Koa, or similar frameworks)
• Solid understanding of API integration, data modeling, and client/server architecture
• Experience managing application state and data using tools such as Redis for caching or storage
• Familiarity with the Devvit Developer Platform and its SDKs (@devvit/client, @devvit/server) is a strong plus

General Requirements

• Fluent English, with a strong understanding of UK culture and language nuances
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and community launch cycles simultaneously
• Experience designing and executing community activations or platform-based experiences
• Strong familiarity with Reddit, its ecosystem, and user expectations
• Ability to quickly adapt to different content verticals and cultural contexts
• Availability to dedicate 20–40 hours per week to Reddit growth initiatives
