Join DataSquads as an experienced JavaScript and TypeScript Developer and help build products that ship. Your main mission is to turn early stage ideas into working software fast, with clean architecture and a strong focus on reliability and maintainability. You will work closely with founders, product teams, and other engineers in an agile environment and take ownership from implementation to delivery.

Your tasks at a glance :

• Build and evolve frontend applications using modern JavaScript and TypeScript
• Develop backend services and APIs with Node.js and TypeScript
• Implement REST and GraphQL endpoints and integrate third party services
• Collaborate on product discovery, translate requirements into solid technical solutions, and ship iteratively
• Write automated tests and keep quality high through reviews and good engineering practices
• Improve performance, scalability, and developer experience as products grow
• Integrate CI pipelines and help make deployments safer and faster
• Use AI tools to speed up coding, improve code quality, and debug issues more effectively
• Document decisions clearly and support continuous improvement across projects

What should you bring with you :

• A degree in Computer Science, software engineering, or equivalent studies
• Strong professional experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
• Solid experience building modern web applications, ideally with frameworks like React, Next.js, Vue, or similar
• Strong backend experience with Node.js, for example with Express, NestJS, Fastify, or similar
• Experience building and consuming APIs using REST and GraphQL
• Practical testing experience, for example with Jest, Vitest, Playwright, Cypress, or similar
• Good understanding of CI pipelines and automated deployments
• Experience with Docker is a plus
• Comfort with AI assisted development workflows
• Proficiency in English (C2) and Portuguese (C2)
• Located in Brazil
