Uma consultoria de gestão de projetos está buscando um Engenheiro Mecânico de Construção em Campinas, Brasil. Essa função é dedicada a garantir que as construções atendam às especificações elétricas e de segurança. Espera-se que o engenheiro trabalhe com a equipe de gerenciamento de custos e mantenha o cronograma da obra, sempre assegurando a qualidade do trabalho e a conformidade com os códigos mecânicos. O trabalho será 100% no local.

Qualificações

• Experiência sólida em normas e práticas mecânicas em centros de dados.
• Boa habilidade de comunicação de soluções técnicas complexas.
• Experiência no uso de códigos mecânicos locais.

Responsabilidades

• Realizar levantamentos preliminares do local de construção.
• Garantir que todas as formalidades, como permissões, sejam obtidas.
• Acompanhar o andamento das atividades de construção conforme o cronograma.
• Comunicar-se com coordenadores de construção para garantir que força de trabalho e equipamentos estejam em ordem.
• Atuar como Supervisor de Controle de Qualidade da parte mecânica do projeto.

The Construction Mechanical Engineer makes sure that what is indicated in the electrical drawings is properly built as well as that the materials and equipment are reviewed, approved, manufactured, and delivered on site when required, he ensures the quality of the work meets requirements. Likewise, it verifies that there are no security risks during the execution of construction tasks that could impact people.

Job Location: Hortolândia/ SP.

This is a 100% construction on site role.

Executive Summary

The process, managed by the Mechanical Engineer, is to help simplify the work in the field and maintain the overall schedule.

The Mechanical Engineer will work with the project cost management team to help the Project Manager and DCD PM manage and control all cost-related issues encountered during the construction phase.

The Mechanical Engineer works directly with the GC Mechanical Manager.

Responsibilities

• Conducting preliminary surveys of the site of construction.
• Ensuring that all formalities such as permits, and clearances are obtained from respective government agencies.
• Ensuring that all installations permits and requirements are accomplished.
• Ensuring that the GC keeps project documentation in order and within the appropriate repository.
• Taking part in the project planning plan and give inputs regarding implementation.
• Ensuring that construction activity progresses as per schedule.
• Reporting to the DCD PM regularly with updates on the construction work.
• Communicating with construction coordinators to ensure that all work force and equipment required are in order.
• Communicate with subcontractors and ensure that the project progresses as per schedule.
• Keep in touch with designers, architects, and suppliers to ensure that construction is going on as per schedule and within quality requirements.
• Acts as Quality Control Supervisor related for mechanical part of the project.
• Coordinate the Mechanical Commissioning process with the GC Mechanical Manager, the Cx Manager and the Commissioning Agent
• Able to manage battery limits and to perform interdisciplinary coordination with other areas.

Qualificações

• Degrees and/or professional licenses in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills in Portuguese and English.

Experience/Skills/Education:

• Solidexperience in Data Center implementation Mechanical standards and practices.
• Good ability to effectively communicate complex technical solutions and concepts to engineers.
• Experience in use of local Mechanical codes.
• Construction Health & Safety knowledge.
