Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Duration: 12 months (ASAP Start)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient DevOps solutions in Azure. The ideal candidate will have deep hands‑on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation, and a strong background in cloud architecture and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab.
- Architect, implement, and maintain containerized workloads, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Kubernetes.
- Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Manage and optimize Azure infrastructure (VMs, networking, storage, load balancers, security).
- Automate environments using Terraform, ARM templates, PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Azure Monitor, Grafana, and related tools.
- Support incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Ensure cloud security best practices, identity & access management, and vulnerability management.
- Troubleshoot networking, infrastructure, and deployment issues.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Contribute to day‑to‑day DevOps operations and environment stability.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE roles.
- Deep knowledge of Azure and AKS, including container orchestration and scaling.
- Strong experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automation.
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, NSGs, load balancers, and cloud security.
- Experience with MS SQL Server and relational databases.
- Background supporting Retail or Trading systems strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
Desired Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
- Experience with retail or wholesale trading systems.
