About FullSession
FullSession is a user behavior analytics platform that helps teams understand how people really use their product or website, remove UX friction, and prove the impact of changes on activation, conversion, and revenue. Our customers span SaaS, Ecommerce / DTC, and Enterprise customer portals (finance, insurance, travel, etc.).
We're building toward a world where teams go from seeing what happened → knowing what to fix next → validating lift.
The Role
We're looking for a hybrid Product + CRO / UX Specialist who can wear three hats :
- Customer onboarding & demo specialist : help prospects / customers get to "first value" fast (this is not a sales role)
- CRO expert : diagnose funnel friction, propose experiments, and validate impact
- Content contributor : turn real work into practical writing (CRO / UX playbooks, teardown-style posts, case studies)
This is a hands‑on role. You'll be in the product, in real customer journeys, and in front of customers.
What You'll Do
CRO / UX & Experimentation
- Audit key journeys (signup → activation, onboarding, checkout, forms, critical flows) using session replay, heatmaps, funnels, and feedback.
- Identify friction, quantify opportunity size, and prioritize a clear backlog of improvements.
- Propose experiments and UX changes with strong hypotheses, expected impact, and success metrics.
- Partner with product / engineering to specify changes (flow, copy, layout, instrumentation) and ensure tracking is correct.
- Help validate lift (conversion, activation, completion, revenue per visitor, drop‑off reduction) and document learnings.
Customer Onboarding & Demos (CS, not sales)
- Run onboarding calls and product walkthroughs; help teams install / implement and reach "first insights" quickly.
- Translate customer goals into a simple measurement plan (events / funnels) and a short list of "what to fix first."
- Collect structured feedback from calls and turn it into actionable product recommendations.
Writing & Thought Leadership (CRO / UX)
- Co‑create short, high‑signal content with us : blog posts, case studies, teardown‑style insights, and playbooks.
- Share best practices for CRO, UX, and experimentation across SaaS, Ecommerce, and high‑stakes portals.
- Optionally publish under your name (with transparency / disclosure where relevant).
What Success Looks Like (First 60–90 Days)
- Customers reach "first value" faster (clearer onboarding, faster first insights, fewer setup blockers).
- A repeatable onboarding playbook (talk tracks, checklists, templates).
- A prioritized list of product + UX improvements informed by real data and real calls.
Requirements
- 3+ years in CRO / UX optimization and / or Product Management for a live website / web app (B2B SaaS and / or Ecommerce).
- Strong experimentation skills : hypothesis design, metrics, A / B testing fundamentals, interpreting results.
- Strong analytics + behavior tooling experience (GA4 and a replay / heatmap / funnel tool such as FullSession, Hotjar, etc.).
- Comfortable moving between quantitative and qualitative signals (funnels / events + replays / feedback).
- Strong written English : you can explain what you found, what you changed, and why it mattered.
- High ownership : you work independently, communicate clearly async, and ship work without heavy supervision.
Nice to have
- Experience with onboarding / implementation for analytics tools (tagging, events, confirmation that data is flowing).
- Familiarity with privacy considerations (masking, PII, consent, compliance).
- Experience writing for Product / Growth audiences (LinkedIn, Medium, blog).
What We Offer
- Flexible, remote‑friendly engagement (start part‑time 20+ hours; option to expand).
- Fair compensation at $23 / hr FT equivalent (173.3 hrs) = $3,986
- Work on meaningful CRO / UX problems with modern behavior analytics tooling.
- Direct exposure to product strategy and real customer journeys.
- Opportunities to build your public portfolio via co‑authored content.
