Overview

Hero Practice Services is seeking a Compliance Manager to develop, implement, and monitor the company’s compliance program for pediatric dental, vision, and orthodontic practices. This role will oversee activities including (but not limited to) patient care quality, data integrity, federal and state regulations, and policies and procedures.

Pay range: $80K-$90K DOE

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, Medicaid, and other applicable healthcare regulations
  • Stay current on regulatory changes affecting company’s healthcare verticals (dental, vision, orthodontics)
  • Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify gaps in compliance and recommend corrective actions
  • Partner with clinical and administrative teams to ensure accurate documentation, billing, and coding practices
  • Track and report compliance metrics to leadership
  • Develop and deliver training programs for staff, providers, and leadership
  • Manage and investigate compliance concerns, patient complaints, and potential violations
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or related field
  • At least five years of compliance experience in healthcare
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, and Medicaid regulations
  • Experience with audits, investigations, and risk management
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build trust and credibility across multidisciplinary teams
  • Compliance certification a plus
