Job type: Full-time employee

Assist in organizing the pharmacy, controlling medications, and distributing them across departments to meet medical prescriptions according to established technical protocols.

• Store materials and medications properly following the first-expiring, first-out (FEFO) methodology, prioritizing products with the nearest expiration date;
• Attend to medical prescriptions from various departments and handle emergencies in hospitalization and emergency units;
• Supply hospitalization sectors with necessary materials for nursing procedures and organize materials according to requesting departments for easier delivery;
• Assist and contribute to stock control and recording of items used by patients;
• Receive, check, record returns in the company's system, and store returned products;
• Arrange informational strips with patient data according to bed in individual medication cart drawers;
• Prepare medications in divided doses, promoting unit-dose division and labeling according to established standards;
• Protocol, separate, check, and deliver requested medical materials via internal requisition or computer system;
• Check medications and materials during surgical kit assembly, ensuring proper assembly, integrity, and composition to guarantee quality usage;
• Participate in inventory counts, including weekly counts of materials and medications as per standards;
• Perform other related activities as directed by superiors.

Desirable: Experience in the role or similar positions is preferred.
