The Account Executive will develop key sales growth strategies, tactics, and action plans. Effective execution of these strategies is required to be successful with our quarterly and annual financial targets. The position will work remotely with travel to client locations and team meetings.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Be an expert listener. Being able to respond with solutions to a problem will be paramount to your success at Five Star Technology Solutions
  • Create, deploy, and analyze prospecting cadences, including cold calls, social media, and personalized emails, to connect to the right persons at target school districts
  • Meet or exceed growth objectives through prospecting, lead response, and relationship building with public schools
  • Presenting and demonstrating the value of products and services to prospective clients
  • Build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to ensure an industry-leading customer experience
  • Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations
  • Present applicable competitive information to Sales Management
  • Collaborate with Sales Management regularly and consistently
  • Provide accurate forecasts by leveraging the company CRM system to document activities and essential information as deals progress in the pipeline
  • Visiting/meeting virtually with clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services
  • Other duties as assigned by Sales Management
Requirements
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in a role as Technology Director within a school system, or in a sales role focused on IT Services and Procurement for the K-12 Education Market.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in computer science, business, or a related field is preferred but not required
  • Ability to work remotely with reliable high-speed internet access at home or residence
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Must have strong organization and detail-oriented skills
  • Work both effectively with others in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision and guidance
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve excellent results
  • A moderate level of travel will be required
  • Experience with Hubspot Sales is preferred
  • Experience with ConnectWise PSA (Manage) is preferred
  • Experience with Google Workspace is preferred
  • Provide a minimum of two (2) professional references
Compensation

We offer a starting base salary in the range of $65,000-$75,000 that can be flexible depending on the candidate's skills and professional background. This role also includes a performance-based commission.
