Job description

Access Psych offers qualified face-to-face and telehealth mental health support services to address a wide range of mental health issues and concerns. As part of the MedHealth group – a purpose-built collection of 22 industry leading health, medical and employment brands – and with more than 80 mental health clinicians, we deliver mental health support to meet the unique needs of individual clients and corporate customers Australia-wide. Overview

We are looking for AHPRA Registered Psychologists who can deliver authentic, compassionate, and dependable mental health support in a wide range of services including Workers Compensation Schemes, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and Medicare clients via telehealth.

Specifically, we are seeking Registered Psychologists who are available to work late afternoons/evenings incorporating appointments at 4pm, 5pm & 6pm from one day per week up to five days per week. These hours may form part of a full-time working week or a part-time working week depending on clinician preference.

This is a salaried role, not a contractor role.

As a clinician working with Access Psych, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals navigate the challenges of work-related injuries, stress, pain management and other occupational issues. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of clients. Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based mental health training, assessment, and treatment to clients with a range of mental health conditions and outcome goals;
  • Work collaboratively with clients, medical and allied health professionals, case managers and employers to assist people return to work and/or fully re-engage with the community;
  • Complete assessments and interventions using your clinical skills;
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organisational and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Joining our team of mental health professionals is straightforward. But first, you need to meet a few mandatory requirements:

  • General Psychologist Registered with AHPRA; or
  • Willingness to obtain NSW State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) accreditation and VIC WorkSafe;
  • You have permanent residency in Australia;
  • You are passionate about improving lives through work and health;
  • You want to be part of a dynamic, social and hard-working team.
  • Interest and willingness to work with workers compensation clients.
