What You Will Achieve

This position is responsible for undertaking a range of dispensing and warehouse activities under the direction of the experienced operators / Warehouse Team Leader / Supervisor. The incumbent may work in any area of the warehouse or dispensary.

The role will involve dispensing chemical raw materials. The role extends to a variety of tasks within the warehouse including working collaboratively with other team members and departments in a cGMP environment to achieve specific and agreed outcomes.

Undertake dispensing / dispensary related activities to ensure production schedules are achieved in line with agreed quality and efficiency standards for area of responsibility. The role extends to a variety of tasks within the Dispensary / Warehouse.

  • Situate materials to the appropriate locations within the warehouse.
  • Maintain appropriate hygiene and dress code standards in accordance with relevant SOP’s/OI’s.
  • Operate processes and equipment in an efficient manner ensuring reliable and consistent operation producing quality output which meets all quality PGS Melbourne standards.
  • Perform dispensing operations under supervision with an experienced colleague
  • Perform cleaning of the dispensaries and housekeeping / cleaning within the warehouse
  • Work to build positive relationships with customers/suppliers both internal and external.
  • Participate in team activities as required.
  • Act at all times with integrity and adhere to PGS Melbourne HR policies.
  • Actively participate in organizing and planning work area activities.
  • Undertake an active role in team-based activities to identify improvements/efficiencies in production activities.
Here Is What You Need

(Minimum Requirements)

  • Year 12 completion as a minimum and strong computer literacy skills
  • Understanding and application of Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to timeline whilst demonstrating accountability for own work.
  • Sound interpersonal, decision making and problem solving skills.

Forklift license is mandatory.

Heavy lifting with repetitive bending will be required

  • Understanding of GMPs and food sanitation in food or dietary supplement manufacturing
  • English proficiency (written and verbal)
