Job description

HMR is a national contractor providing underground and surface DRILLING, MINING and RAISEBORING services to clients across Australia.

We are currently seeking suitably experienced Production Drill Operators to join our team for available work in the Central West NSW region.

If you are a highly motivated self-starter, we want to hear from you! This role is a full-time for a minimum of 6 months with opportunity for placement with the client.

The Role
  • 7/7 roster
  • FIFO any major city
  • DIDO (NSW) - Km reimbursement
  • Accommodation & messing provided
  • Permanent position - potential for full-time role with client
Key Requirements Of The Role
  • Drill production long-holes to Client requirements
  • Interpret drill plans and ensure hole accuracy
  • Record and report drilling data
  • Conduct pre-start inspections, risk assessments, and safety checks.
  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on drill rigs to maintain uptime
  • Liaise with other departments to support production
  • Contribute to safety and productivity improvements
Essentials

The ability to meet pre-employment criteria including drug and alcohol screening, medical and police clearance is required.

  • Motivated self-starter who can work independently
  • Previous experience/exposure to Sandvik & Epiroc production machines
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Current Driver’s License
  • Australian or NZ residents - Full working rights in Australia
