Job Title: SAP P&SM Solution Consultant

Job Summary:

Embarking on a significant digital transformation project, transitioning from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA with a focus on improving procurement and supply chain processes. We are looking for a Senior SAP Ariba and S/4HANA Procurement & Supply Management Consultant to Senior Consultant and manage the implementation and optimization of the SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA procurement modules. This role will serve as the Senior Product Manager for the Procurement and Supply Management function, providing strategic oversight, expert guidance, and ensuring that the SAP solutions effectively support business needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for Senior Consultanting the transformation of the procurement and supply chain processes, from integration to post-implementation optimization, ensuring that the solutions are seamlessly integrated and aligned with operational goals. A hands-on approach to configuration and solution design, along with Senior Consultantership experience, is required for this high-impact role.

Key Job Responsibilities:

1. SAP Ariba and S/4HANA Procurement Transformation:

2. Senior Consultant the end-to-end transformation of procurement processes, from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba, ensuring alignment with best practices and strategic objectives.

3. Define the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and delivery plan for the SAP Ariba and S/4HANA procurement and supply management solutions.

4. Ensure smooth integration between SAP Ariba (for sourcing, procurement, and supplier management) and SAP S/4HANA (for operational procurement, materials management, and supplier integration).

5. Product Management & Ownership:

6. Take full ownership of the SAP Ariba and S/4HANA Procurement and Supply Management modules post-implementation, ensuring that the solutions are continuously optimized to meet business needs.

7. Manage the lifecycle of the procurement solutions, including strategic planning, implementation, and post-implementation optimization.

8. Serve as the primary product manager and subject matter expert for the SAP Procurement solutions, providing ongoing support, enhancements, and roadmap planning.

9. Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Gathering:

10. Collaborate with key business stakeholders in procurement, finance, logistics, and IT to understand and define business requirements for SAP Ariba and S/4HANA procurement modules.

11. Conduct workshops and interviews with business teams to document and validate business requirements, ensuring that the SAP solution meets their needs.

12. Provide regular updates to stakeholders and Senior Consultantership teams on project progress, challenges, and milestones.

13. Solution Design & Configuration:

14. Senior Consultant the design and configuration of SAP Ariba and S/4HANA solutions for procurement, supply chain management, supplier collaboration, and purchasing operations.

15. Define the blueprint for the integration of SAP S/4HANA with SAP Ariba, ensuring a seamless flow of procurement data between the systems.

16. Configure SAP modules including SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP S/4HANA Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), and SAP Ariba modules (e.g., Supplier Management, Sourcing, Procurement, Contract Management).

17. Testing, Validation & Go-live Support:

18. Oversee and coordinate the testing phases of the SAP Ariba and S/4HANA procurement modules, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

19. Manage the preparation for Go-Live and ensure successful deployment of SAP procurement solutions, minimizing business disruptions during the transition.

20. Provide expert troubleshooting, issue resolution, and ensure that the solutions are fully operational post-Go-Live.

21. Training & Change Management:

22. Develop and execute training programs for key users, business stakeholders, and procurement teams on SAP Ariba and S/4HANA procurement functionalities and best practices.

23. Conduct training sessions, workshops, and hands-on demonstrations to facilitate smooth adoption of the new system.

24. Senior Consultant change management activities to ensure user adoption and integration of new business processes.

25. Continuous Improvement & Optimization:

26. Monitor the performance of the SAP Ariba and S/4HANA procurement modules post-implementation and identify areas for continuous improvement.

27. Work with business units to identify process inefficiencies and provide recommendations for streamlining procurement operations and increasing overall efficiency.

28. Senior Consultant the continuous enhancement of the SAP procurement solution by leveraging new features in SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba.

29. Documentation & Compliance:

30. Ensure comprehensive documentation of the SAP Ariba and S/4HANA procurement configurations, functional requirements, user manuals, and test scripts.

31. Ensure that all procurement processes and configurations comply with procurement policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.

32. Maintain audit trails and provide the necessary documentation for compliance purposes.

33. Collaboration & Team Senior Consultantership:

34. Senior Consultant and mentor a team of SAP consultants, business analysts, and developers, ensuring they have the support and resources required for successful implementation and ongoing operations.

35. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including SAP technical, business, and change management teams) to ensure the project is delivered on time and within scope.

36. Provide Senior Consultantership and guidance to junior team members, helping them grow their technical and business process expertise.

37. Risk Management & Reporting:

38. Identify potential risks during the project lifecycle (e.g., data migration issues, integration challenges, timeline delays) and implement mitigation strategies.

39. Provide regular reports and presentations to senior management and stakeholders regarding project progress, risks, and performance.

Required Experience, Qualification and Certifications:

1. Professional Experience:

2. 8-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP procurement solutions, including SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA, with at least 3-5 years of experience managing complex SAP Ariba and S/4HANA implementations.

3. Proven experience in managing the end-to-end SAP Ariba and S/4HANA procurement lifecycle, from requirements gathering to Go-Live and post-implementation optimization.

4. Deep understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, supplier collaboration, and integration with finance, logistics, and other ERP systems.

5. Educational Qualifications:

6. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

7. SAP S/4HANA or SAP Ariba certification in Procurement/Materials Management is highly desirable.

8. Project Management:

9. Experience managing large-scale SAP procurement projects, using both traditional and Agile methodologies.

10. Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering SAP procurement projects on time and within budget.

11. Ability to Senior Consultant and mentor a diverse team of consultants, business analysts, and developers, ensuring high performance and successful project outcomes.

12. Technical Expertise:

13. Strong knowledge of SAP Ariba modules, including Supplier Management, Sourcing, Procurement, and Contract Management.

14. Expertise in SAP S/4HANA Procurement and Materials Management (MM) modules, including integration points with other SAP and third-party systems.

15. Hands-on experience in configuring SAP Ariba and S/4HANA procurement modules, managing integration, and ensuring smooth data flow across systems.

16. Familiarity with emerging technologies in procurement, such as AI-driven procurement, cloud-based solutions, and e-sourcing tools.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in the aviation or travel industry.

• Knowledge of financial and compliance regulations specific to the UAE and international markets.

• Experience with integration of SAP S/4HANA with third-party procurement systems or other SAP modules (e.g., SAP FI/CO, SAP MM).
