Looking for a Sales Executive / Sales Engineer to join
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive / Sales Engineer to drive:
- Sales of Material Handling Equipments
- Electric Stackers, Reach Trucks etc,
- Sales of Services & Repairs of Forklifts
- Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs)
- Lease & Rental of Forklifts
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. This position requires a strong understanding of material handling equipment, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of sales success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales of Material Handling Equipment:
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities for Diesel & Electrical Forklift Trucks, Electric Stackers, Reach Trucks, and other relevant equipment.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and industry trends.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and other sales initiatives.
- Present product demonstrations and proposals to potential customers.
- Prepare sales quotations and negotiate pricing and terms of sale.
- Close sales and manage the sales process from lead generation to order fulfillment.
- Sales of Services & AMCs:
- Promote and sell service agreements, Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), and other related services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to identify service opportunities.
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate service solutions.
- Forklift Rentals & Lease:
- Promote and sell forklift rental services to meet customer needs.
- Manage the rental process, including quote generation, contract negotiation, and coordination of delivery and pick-up.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Conduct regular follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify further sales opportunities.
- Reporting & Administration:
- Maintain accurate sales records and reports.
- Prepare sales forecasts and budgets.
- Attend sales meetings and training sessions.
- Provide market feedback to the Sales Manager.
- Travel:
- Travel within the designated sales territory to meet with customers and attend industry events.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in sales of relevant industries like Material Handling Equipment, Construction Equipment, or similar technical product sales.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Diesel & Electrical Forklift Trucks, Electric Stackers, Reach Trucks, and related material handling equipment.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Driving License: Valid driving license is mandatory.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; or High School Diploma/ equivalent with relevant experience.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software.
