ob Purpose:

To manage and maintain accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments to vendors, accurate billing to customers, effective reconciliation of accounts, and compliance with internal and external financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable:
  
• Process, verify, and reconcile vendor invoices in accordance with company policies.
  
• Manage timely payment cycles and resolve any discrepancies with vendors.
  
• Monitor aging reports and ensure payments are made within agreed credit terms.
  
• Handle vendor queries and maintain good relationships.
  
• Prepare monthly schedules for accounts payable.
  
• Accounts Receivable:
  
• Issue customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  
• Monitor incoming payments, follow up on outstanding receivables, and manage collection efforts.
  
• Prepare customer account reconciliations.
  
• Maintain proper documentation for all receivable transactions.
  
• Generate aging reports and assist in collection strategies.
  
• General Accounting:
  
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  
• Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  
• Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, and customer accounts regularly.
  
• Assist with GST/VAT/TDS compliance and returns where applicable.
  
• Maintain organized financial records and proper filing systems.
  

Qualifications and Skills:

• ICWA / CMA Semi-Qualified (Mandatory)
  
• Bachelors Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
  
• 25 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP).
  
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  
• Good proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  
• Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in manufacturing, trading, or service industries.
  
• Knowledge of ERP systems implementation or upgrades.
  
• Exposure to international payment processes and foreign currency transactions.
  

Working Hours: 8 Hours

Salary Range: Take Home salary will be 1 to 1.25 lacs per month plus other benefits.
