Executive Summary
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Location: Dubai, UAE The CFO will lead the financial strategy of a diversified media, events, and investments group. This role focuses on strengthening governance, overseeing multi-entity consolidation, enabling Oracle Fusion–driven digital transformation, and ensuring financial transparency to support sustainable growth.
Role Overview
As part of the executive team, the CFO will direct financial planning, capital efficiency, compliance, and operational performance across all subsidiaries. The role requires strong leadership, deep financial expertise, and experience in media, large-scale events, sponsorship revenue, and multi-entity reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Finance & Leadership
- Define long-term financial strategy with the CEO and Board.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and capital allocation.
- Oversee M&A, investment analysis, KPIs, and performance reporting.
- Media & Revenue Finance
- Manage financial operations for content, licensing, partnerships, advertising, and digital revenue.
- Ensure IFRS 15 compliance and profitability analysis across media activities.
- Events Finance
- Oversee budgeting, cost tracking, revenue reconciliation, and reporting for festivals and major events.
- Deliver real-time dashboards and post-event analysis.
- Sponsorships & Stakeholder Reporting
- Manage financial structures for sponsorships, funding, and grants.
- Ensure accurate tracking, compliance, and audit-ready reporting.
- Corporate Finance, Treasury & Risk
- Lead cash management, banking relationships, financing, and risk management.
- Conduct scenario modelling and support fundraising or M&A readiness.
- Compliance & Statutory Reporting
- Ensure compliance with UAE CT, VAT, ESR, and all regulatory requirements.
- Lead IFRS 18 readiness, e-invoicing implementation, consolidation, and audits.
- Oracle Fusion & Digital Transformation
- Optimize Oracle Fusion ERP, automate workflows, and enhance BI and analytics.
- Implement AI-driven forecasting and data-driven financial processes.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and develop teams across finance functions.
- Build a high-performance culture and strengthen cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of experience, including 5+ years at CFO/senior leadership level.
- Media/events or multi-entity holding experience.
- Strong IFRS, tax, treasury, consolidation, and Oracle Fusion expertise.
- Preferred CMA, CPA, ACCA, or CFA.
- Strong communication, commercial acumen, and transformation leadership.
