A leading trading company in Dubai is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Manager to lead financial operations. Responsibilities include overseeing accounting functions, ensuring compliance with UAE laws, and managing audits. The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of relevant experience in Dubai, is CA/ACCA/CPA qualified, and possesses strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations. Oversee the full spectrum of accounting and finance operations including general ledger AR/AP bank reconciliation and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with UAE laws including VAT filings ESR AML regulations and corporate tax.
Manage internal and external audits and ensure timely completion of statutory audits.
Develop and monitor budgets forecasts and cash flow management.
Liaise with external auditors banks tax consultants and regulatory authorities.
Implement and maintain strong internal controls and accounting systems.
Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
Coordinate with procurement sales and operations departments to align financial processes.
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff (if applicable).
CA / ACCA / CPA qualified (mandatory)
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Dubai
Experience in the trading industry is required
Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards VAT and auditing practices
Proficient in Tally / QuickBooks / ERP systems
Excellent knowledge of IFRS and local financial regulations
Strong analytical communication and leadership skills
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines under pressure
