Responsibilities:

1. Manage the design team and oversee the design process, ensuring adherence to programme timelines and applying technical expertise.
2. Support understanding and advise clients regarding project requirements and obligations in building design development.
3. Encourage and inspire the design team to produce their best work by leveraging their skills, experience, resources, and talents in a cost-effective manner.
4. Attend and coordinate department meetings.
5. Ensure the design process complies with current legislation, standards, and codes of practice where applicable.
6. Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth project execution.
7. Delegate tasks and review team assignments.
8. Create innovative design drafts or presentations.
9. Maintain design quality and ensure adherence to design directives.
10. Act as the point of contact for technical and design-related matters, both internally and externally.
11. Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
12. Ensure client needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
13. Assist in preparing project proposals, including timelines, schedules, and budgets.
